内海イズル

幼い頃より、古今東西のありとあらゆる「音」・「音楽」に胸を打たれ続け現在に至る。80年代半ばよりアートスペース、クラブ、オープンエアフェスティバルなどでのDJ、ミュージシャンらとの無数のセッション、ヴィデオやライティングアーティストとのコラボレーションを行う。インターネット以前の90年代に、当時ほとんど情報のなかった非英語圏の音楽、特にブラジルやラテン音楽を意欲的にダンスフロアに提示し、第一人者となる。今なお世界中に影響を与える 14枚ものブラジルやラテンのコンピレーション作品を編纂。プロデューサーとしてはDisorient,Ubiquity,SSR,Yellow Productionから作品をリリース。2002年には初のソロアルバム「UTSUMI」をFlower Recordsよりリリース。2009年から実験的プロジェクト"Izzy"名義で活動。OVAやelevenなどのパーティでのDJも伝説となっている。そのアグレッシヴな音楽表現活動は変化を続け、独創的な世界観は他の追随を許さない。2012年、秋彼はAuwa Recordsをスタートした。Utsumiの可能性は計り知れない。

UTSUMI IZURU
Since childhood to the present, he has been heartily moved by “sound”and “music” , East to West.
In the midst of 80’s, he Djed at artspace,club,
open-air festival and did the countless sessions and collaborated with video and lighting artist.
Before the internet era in the 90’s, when there was not much information,
he became the pioneer who passionately contributed the Non-English realm’s music such as Brazilian and Latin music on the dance floor. Even today,
he edited 14 Brazilian and Latin compilation masterpieces which are influencing the world.
As a producer, he released masterpieces from the Disorient, Ubiquity, SSR, Yellow Production.
In 2002, he released “UTSUMI” which is the first solo-album from Flower Records. Since 2009,
he has been acting as an experimental project named “Izzy”.
It is becoming legendary by Djing for “OVA” and “eleven” parties.
His aggressive musical expression movement is evolving and his unique sense of the world is outstanding. In 2012 Autumn, he launched “Auwa Records”, Utsumi’s possibilities are still immeasurable.
