2013年新たなスタートをきる県内最大級のBASS MUSIC PARTY 「bud ryukyu」。
3月2日の1st gig@MAFALI CAFEを皮切りに4月,6月とさらにハイクオリティー
2012年もっともクラブシーンの話題をさらったアルバ
“bud ryukyu” will be starting new year of 2013, which is known as the largest BASS MUSIC PARTY in Okinawa. Beginning on the March 2nd @ MAFALI CAFÉ, we will drop you high quality BASS MUSIC, also in coming April and June, uniting with LoveBall.
On April 19th, “MALA” who gained the most attention of UK Dubstep scene with the album of “MALA IN CUBA” is coming to Okinawa. “MALA IN CUBA”, which cross-over sound produced with the name of Gilles Peterson, is getting hot attention from all over the world. It will be the first time to visit Japan after he released the masterpiece, and Japanese audience’s expectation is getting higher and higher.

★MALA / DIGITAL MYSTIKZ (DMZ, Deep Medi Musik, UK)
“MALA” is the pioneer and the mentor of Dubstep “MALA”, from south London, is also well-known as “DIGITAL MYSTIKZ” which is duo-produced with “COKI”. They grew up with the influence of Jungle, Drum and Bass, Dub, Rooted Reggae, UK garage and etc… As they started creating own unique beats of bass, they became the center of the Dubstep scene, starting from the underground. In 2003, they released “Pathways EP” from Big Apple Records. In 2004, they added a sworn friend “LOEFAH” and began releasing genuinely from own label called “DMZ”. Also, they got more attention by being featured in, compilation of “Rephlex”, “CRIME 2”. Furthermore, since 2005, they had been performing in club night dropped by “DMZ” and gained audience steadfastly by regularly appearing based in Brixton and Leeds, which ultimately spread to the Europe and the USA. In 2006, they got higher popularity by releasing “Ancient Memories” from “DMZ”, and “Haunted/Anti War Dub” from “Soul Jazz, and etc… In the same year, “MALA” established own label named “Deep Medi Musik”. Since then it has been in the front of the scene by releasing masterpieces of GOTH-TRAD、KROMESTAR、SKREAM、SILKIE、CALIBRE、PINCH. In 2010, the first album of “MALA” called “RETURN II SPACE”, which is tri-folded analog, expressing dynamics of spiritual sound of space of “MALA”. The talent of “MALA” is highly praised by FRANCOIS K, ADRIAN SHERWOOD, and GILLES PETERSON. In 2011, by the idea of GILLES, they visited the Cuba and “MALA” piled sessions with local artists. He brought back the amount of the sound samples and reconstructed.
In Sep. 2012, he released “MALA IN CUBA” from the GILLES’s “Brownswood”(released in Japan from Beatink). It is revolutionary for the world music/electronic music since the experimental sound of “MALA” and the Cuban rooted music has fused. By releasing “MALA IN CUBA”, “MALA” has entered new level, you must listen and be excited where he will take us in Japan Tour! "Come meditate on bass weight!"

さて、「音」はこれで完璧な夜が過ごせるはず…しかし、これだけでは終わらない！さらに他にも楽しめる場所として、今回の会場“LoveBall”周辺はナイトライフが兎に角熱いスポットなので、コチラも要チェック。
多店舗合同型食べ歩きイベントも、盛んに行われるほどおいしい料理屋がならぶ“国際通り”は『bud ryukyu』開催場所である“LoveBall”からも近くて、県内最大の繁華街である松山通りは、目と鼻の先なので、是非とも遊びに行ってみよう。老舗のバーや、飲食店が立ち並ぶ“久茂地エリア”もオススメの場所なので、金曜日は『bud ryukyu』、翌日はそちらで遊ぶのもありですね♪
ちなみに、4月の沖縄は、他県に比べてとても暖かいので、ビーチにも少しづつ人が集まり始めています、お昼は沖縄の海を楽しみながら、夜は美味しいご飯と、お酒、温かい沖縄の人達との出会いを求めて練り歩く、大人の遊びを、沖縄で満喫してみてはいかがでしょうか？
